Bellingham in April

We took a long weekend and drove to Bellingham to see Maddie and Donovan, and to explore the nearby San Juan Islands.

The drive was long, but we took a detour around Seattle that led us through Leavenworth, WA. It’s a really cute little town, and we’d love to go back and explore more.

The ladies had a great time throwing some pottery on the patio.

We took a day trip around the San Juan's. Took a ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor, Shaw Island and Orcas Island.

Once in Bellingham, we went on a couple of easy hikes and explored the beautiful, lush green forests.
